A new soft SiH lens for keratoconus and post graft fitting

Keratoconics rely on contact lenses in order to lead a normal life. Glasses simply do not correct the aberrations and distortions characteristic of the condition and RGPs, which are usually the first choice of practitioners to give good vision, are often too uncomfortable to wear. Dust, heat, allergies and sensitivity all conspire to make contact lens wear a trial for this group of patients. Now there is an alternative! Material - SiH 74% water content, low modulus of 0.38, naturally wetting and water retentive.
