Spherical RGPs
Eureka™ Aspheric
The EurekaTM aspheric gas permeable contact lens is designed to align more closely with the cornea whilst maintaining the essential movement that is associated with a well fitting spherical lens.Improved centration and movement result from the particular combination of elliptical back surface and progressive aspheric periphery. Constant axial edge clearance is an important design feature and is maintained throughout the parameter range.
This product is available with SAM® (Spherical Aberration Management) for enhanced aberration control at no additional charge. If required please specify 'SAM Optics' when ordering.

The Topflex design features a specially blended multicurve back surface with constant axial edge lift providing optimum tear exchange. The front surface design keeps overall lens thickness to a minimum without compromising the stability or durability of the lens. Centre and edge thickness is computer controlled to achieve maximum stability and comfort. This product is available with SAM® (Spherical Aberration Management) for enhanced aberration control at no additional charge. If required please specify 'SAM Optics' when ordering.

Xtralens™
The XtralensTM is designed primarily for refitting soft lens wearers with RGP lenses. The large diameter and polynomial back surface together with a novel front surface design, all combine to give initial comfort approaching that of soft lenses and in most cases patients will successfully complete the changeover within a few days. A unique system of differential edge types is used to aid lens movement and positioning with the aim of maximising tear exchange. An addtional advantage of this design is its tendency to overcome three and nine o'clock staining. It is important note that this lens is generally fitted 0.10mm steeper than flattest K, or 0.15mm flatter than mean K, whichever is the steeper, as the position of the lens on the eye is controlled by the front design. The XtralensTM also provides an extremely good frame for a bifocal and trifocal optical portion.
SAM® technology is used on all XtralensTM making this lens the ultimate design in RGP lens on the market today.

Plasma-GP
Plasma-GP lenses benefit from a specialist treatment during which high frequency waves are used to 'excite' oxygen, producing a plasma gas. This in turn changes the material matrix, at surface level only, allowing the lens to become more hydrophilic.Material - Optimum Extra
