SAM® MF RGP Multifocal
The SAM® MF is designed using UltraVision CLPL's unique SAM® technology, allowing total power control at all parts of the lens. This allows the creation of a far superior simultaneous multifocal lens, to either system designs or to your own total specifications.The SAM® MF front surface can be applied to any design of back surface thus enabling the practitioner to have flexibility.

The SAM® MF Toric is designed using UltraVision CLPL's unique SAM® technology, allowing total power control at all parts of the lens. This allows the creation of a far superior simultaneous multifocal lens, to either system designs or to your own total specifications.The toriodal aspheric back surface is designed to align more closely with the corneawhilst maintaining the essential movement that is associated with a well fitting spherical lens. Improved centration and movement result from the particular combination of elliptical back surface and progressive aspheric periphery. Constant axial edge clearance is an important design feature and is maintained throughout the parameter range.

SAM® MF Sphere and Toric
Soft durable multifocal spherical contact lens with successful SAM® multifocal centre distance design. The spherical version features a tricurve back surface with a central toric optic zone. The front surface is a dynamically stabilized asphere optimized to control off-axis rotation. SAM® optical control gives full simultaneous vision effect without compromising any area of vision. This lens is available in GM3 material.Description
The SAM® MF is designed using UltraVision CLPL's unique patented SAM® technology, allowing total power control at all parts of the lens. This allows the creation of a far superior simultaneous multifocal lens, to either system designs or to your own total specifications.
The SAM® MF soft lens is lathe cut from an ultra high molecular weight poly 2-HEMA-GMA co-polymer with a 58% water content. This type of material shows lower protein build-up, high water retention and a very rapid rate of re-hydration thus allowing improved oxygen transmissiblility for lenses when compared with most other soft lens materials of similar water content. The Simplon SAM® MF is suitable for general daily use in healthy eyes.
